The settlement of Bermahue started out on a great continent called Velzars. For many years, the town of Bermahue found great wealth through trade and exportation, and nary a single resident found themselves for lack of money. Many centuries ago, a mysterious wildfire tore through Velzars, turning the once fruitful empire into a continually smolder pile of ash, and forcing the inhabitants of Bermahue to flee to a nearby island. They resettled close to Velzars with the hopes of one day inhabiting their homelands once again.
